BUT PAINTING DOES NOT NOURISH ..........
Married to downward in hot line of the painter Jan Van Eyck in
1981, his family in law ask him to be a "little more serious",
to stop painting and to be devoted to his jof of data processing
specialist in order to make live his family. What he did....
However, a great moment of happiness at that time : birth of his
daughter, LAURA.....
A lot of troubles followed....
In the same time, he creates and offers a service minitel for the
deaf persons of Belgium which always runs until now.
As a creator of services for minitel, he meets Mr. Jacques SEGALA
(large advertising executive) and carries out the graphic center
for the "3615 CLUBMED" in collaboration with the team
of interactive RSCG.
His other talents :
- Painting on silk (scarves, cushions) : many Belgian
hairdressers asked him to create for them.
- Creation of adhesive stickers, in particular for a campaign
against the nuclear power.
- Creation of logos, stickers and shop-signs for firms or
factories.
At the present time, Alain SMOUT is divorced, lives in France with his muse, PASCALINE, and since 1998 devotes himself again to painting !!.....
